Entries are now being accepted for the 8th Annual Surfing for Life Kahuna Kupuna Classic Surf Contest and Fundraiser. It will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 7:00 A. M. to 5:00 P. M. at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, with a party at the Pedro Point Firehouse that evening for contestants and invited guests.

The entry fee is $80 for surfers, age 20 plus, and $30 for contestants under age 20 who compete in the Intergenerational Team Division.

All net proceeds are donated to the Pacifica Beach Coalition and the Surfrider Foundation-San Mateo County Chapter in support of their beach cleanup and water testing programs. Longboard and shortboard surfers of all ages, all genders, and all abilities are welcome to participate in this fun, unique, one-of-a-kind event.
