On Fri., Aug. 31st, between 4:30 and 5:30 P. M., at the southern end of the Sloat Blvd. parking lot, one surfer's truck was broken into by a screwdriver through the driver's door lock, and on another truck a break-in was attempted by the same method.

If you have any information about these break-ins, please contact the SFPD. Keep an eye out this holiday weekend for this kind of activity and please call the police if you witness a theft in progress. And, a reminder not to stash your key on your car--the Hide-a-Key Thieves may be watching!
