This month’s Wet Wednesday Benefit at The Riptide is to assist Save the Waves with Chile earthquake relief. Here’s the low-down from the barman up high at The Riptide:

Come celebrate April’s last Wet Wednesday at The Riptide and help support Save The Waves’ Chile relief program. Donations will directly aid small coastal areas that were hit the hardest by the February 27 earthquake and following tsunamis. Free admission, free food, surf flicks played on a big screen and soul, funk, house, breaks, reggae and Brazilian beats, courtesy of DJs Paul McNitt and Paul Hobi.

There will be a $5 raffle for a $450 gift certificate toward a custom Las Olas Surfboard www.lasolassurfboards.com, a Cutarra Surf Tour in Panama http://www.facebook.com/cutarrasurftour?ref=ts, and lots of other great raffle prizes donated by the Pizza Place on Noriega, Timbuk2, Java Beach Cafe, The Red Vic Movie House, Sunset Pet Supply, Noriega Produce and surf author Jaimal Yogis.

A percentage of the bar will be donated and all of Jeff’s share of the tips.

Every Wednesday is Wet Wednesday at the Riptide but the last Wednesday of the month is a benefit party for a nonprofit or worthy cause sponsored by  www.surfpulse.com
