DIY Wooden Surfboard Building Class in San Francisco from September 25, 2011 to October 1, 2011

If you’ve been waiting for Grain Surfboards to come to your neighborhood so you don’t have to miss the waves at your local, you could be in luck… if you live in San Francisco that is. Two instructors from our crew are coming to the city by the bay to pull off a full seven-day board building class in an old firehouse that’s easy to get to by streetcar.

We’re still arranging the details, but you can count on the same experience you’d get by coming here to Maine including two incredible meals a day, the full course of instruction, and a board ready-to-glass. The tuition’s a bit more to cover the cost of us getting there, but students living in the area avoid the cost of traveling to Maine and cost of lodging, so we expect everyone to come out way ahead. Stay tuned to this page for more information as we have it.
